Our Founders
The vision and drive behind AFGC Holdings — two founders who built the group from the ground up with a focus on practical execution, reliability, and long-term partnerships.
Managing Director & Founder
Asad Farooq is the Founder and Managing Director of AFGC Holdings, bringing over 15 years of experience across trading, contracting, and workforce management in the UAE. He began his career in 2009 with Al Fattu Metal Trading LLC, gaining early experience in sales and industry operations. He later joined Lucky Metal Ores Trading LLC, where he further strengthened his expertise in trading and client management.
He went on to become a partner at Al Asad Building Contracting LLC, playing a key role in business operations and project execution. His combined experience in trading and contracting gave him strong insight into project environments and workforce requirements. In 2019, he established Asad Farooq Building Contracting LLC (previously known as Asad Farooq Technical Services LLC), which became a core part of AFGC Holdings. Under his leadership, the group has expanded across manpower, contracting, and technical services. He also founded Ain Almadina Metal Ores Trading LLC in 2023, further strengthening the group’s trading and supply capabilities. Through his leadership, AFGC continues to grow as a reliable partner supporting projects across the UAE.
Executive Director & Co-Founder
Umar Hayat is the Chairman and Co-Founder of AFGC Holdings, bringing over 8 years of experience in accounting, finance, and taxation. He plays a key role in managing financial operations, reporting, and compliance across the group.
With hands-on experience in financial audits, budgeting, VAT reporting, and operational accounting, he ensures strong financial discipline and supports effective decision-making across the organisation. His role is instrumental in maintaining stability while enabling the group’s continued growth.
Chief Financial Officer
Saad Ahmed Butt is the Chief Financial Officer of AFGC Holdings, bringing strong experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance. He plays a key role in overseeing financial operations, planning, and governance across the group. With hands-on experience in financial reporting, auditing, VAT compliance, and corporate accounting, he ensures financial discipline and supports informed decision-making across the organisation. His role is instrumental in maintaining stability while enabling the group’s continued growth
